Old Time Hockey Player

I heard that Conan O'Brien always loved writing lines for Mr. Burns during his tenure on The Simpsons, because he got to throw in a lot of outdated slang and euphamisms.

I took a page out of his book here.

It's also another strip that is less satire about real players, and more just innocent, fictional hockey league fun. I figured I should be ready to pivot in case I attracted some unwanted attention from the league or the player's association.

I don't think they're keeping tabs on me these days.
